Merwick Care & Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro, N.J., has launched new physician-led Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab programs in response to growing regional healthcare needs. The cardiac program is directed by cardiologist Dr. Sarika Sharma and supports patients recovering from cardiac events, surgery, or managing complex heart conditions. Pulmonologist Dr. Mir S. Ahmad leads the pulmonary program, which focuses on reducing respiratory symptoms and improving overall function and quality of life. Patients benefit from 24/7 lab and radiology access, respiratory therapy support, and comprehensive post-hospital, short-term rehab and long-term care services.
